Hi there I was just wondering if anyone is willing to share a few pictures of how their Indian ringnecks living requirements is setup ?

If anyone would be willing to share a few pictures of that Indian ringnecks cage setup etc it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to be a first time owner I have done a fair bit of research of course but would love too see other people's setup I'm not wanting to cage my bird alot either.

Anything would be appreciated.

Hi Missymoo!
Our situation is kind of unique I think....the boys are only have their door to the cage shut at night, otherwise it's open. They share - their choice. I gave in after a couple of weeks. We have spares if I had to seperate them. I work from home. House is well insulated, 'climate stable', no condensation etc...they don't actually have as much window backing on the cage as it might look. Curtain rail, cage, top of cage, my shoulders and play gym are all fair game, no-ones allowed on the floor.

Sorry....ignore the chickens.......

The photo is crap but hopefully you get the idea. The play stand and the cage can be linked be perches, chains etc. The cage tends to hold the foraging activities - otherwise it'd be hurtled across the room. Above the play stand hanging off the window frame is a big rope boing, so they can see to the driveway and bark at the courier. The boing is accessible from jumping up a bit from the stand, or scaling the curtains (Whilst I yell 'get off the curtain!!!) and wandering along the curtain rail.

Does that make much sense?

AHHHH! YOU'RE FROM NZ!
But who on earth was your first breeder :O !?!?
Which island are you located?
If your looking at cages to purchase, You'd be sweet as with an AVIONE 604.
I'll try and get a neat, clean, not fuzzy cage photo for you tomorrow.

Im in the north island, I was looking at that exact cage!!!

Yay atleast I'm on the right path, would you agree that a ringneck can be full weaned at 2 months seems so early for a baby??

I'm starting to wonder about how dodgey some bird breeders can be!!

I have chickens as well lol

Yeah that doesn't sound right to me, but I've never had a baby from a breeder.
I had tentatively lined up a violet through the parrot place in Keri Keri, but I'm pretty sure she was going to be a fair bit older than that!
Silversage will know...shame we cant just tag forum members on here :)
