Cork Toy

Would it be safe to give Bob a cork from a bottle of beer as a toy; I am almost certain the answer is no, but I hope I am wrong.

soak cork, and be sure its cork!

i give nut corks from my wine bottles after i've soaked them in boiling water out of the kettle over night

nut likes to rip them apart

but please wait for some others to answer as i know cork wood is safe, but i also know some corks from bottles are not true corks they canbe a plastic material, or bonded corks, where glue is used in bonding
