Cookie:grey: has a little something to add to this thread. Here it is:

Hello fellow birds and hoomans!

I got a new bird mate. Mommy calls him "Mochi" so I think that's his name..?

He's really tiny and blue..and freaky. I don't like it when he come to me I feel like he's gonna do something to me. And besides, I'm the only one that is allowed to approach birds (and humans) like that. He doesn't seem to know how to fly..which is good, he can't follow me around. He doesn't even eat seeds! Or veggies! That's so weird! It's not like mommy can feed him forever. He needs to learn to eat!

Enough about "Mochi". It's time to talk about what I want to talk about!

Today was pretty rainy..and cold. It's still pretty cold.. But warmer. I'm also losing a lot of feathers and I feel soo itchy! I think this is called a molt..........

I don't have anything else to talk about.. So I guess I'll be leaving

Buh-Bye!

Yep, I guess that's all Cookie has to say..Oh and Cookie actually is scared of Mochi though he cautiously approaches Mochi whenever he's sleeping.

Mochi, Cookie and I hope you had/have a good day!:D

Well, I haven't updated on Cookie for quite some time here.

Well, Cookie learned some new words:

1-Peek-a-boo
2- Step up
3- Achoo (hooman sneeze)

We also now know that Cookie is 100% male. His face is whiter and he also recently grew in his new tail feather (only one so far) which does not have any stripes.

Cookie and I are currently working on perfecting recall and after that, we'll work on 'wave'

We also recently switched to using almonds as a treat after using sunflower seeds. I do make sure that the almonds I'm giving him aren't bitter almonds by cutting off a piece and tasting every almond I give him.

He's doing pretty good and we haven't had any major problems so far... Hopefully, it'll stay like that...

Cookie saw a chick (Bak-Bak) eat for the first time yesterday. S/he was very curious to what Bak-Bak was and even took some of Bak-Bak's food:p.

Here's a picture and a video of the meeting:)

I pray that you aren't having thoughts of having Bak-Bak for dinner!!!!

Well, both of them weren't very fond of each other. And I'm using "weren't" because Bak-Bak is no longer with us. She didn't die or anything (at least I hope not), We sold her because my father did not like the smell coming from her coop...

I didn't! But I think the rest of my did. Well, she is gone anyway...

I miss her...
