Ok i been reducing his formula to 2 meals a day n fruit here n there
But today he didn't even bother trying it during feeding
He did however eat the fruit instead ..... any ideas y he don't want it any more ?

You might want to include more info so people can better answer your question. What species is your bird? How old? How many feeding of formula are you offering per day and at what times?

If he is eating fruit instead of formula then that's what he is supposed to do. As long as he isn't hungry and is eating real food he is fine. I really don't think you should have gotten cookie so young, you obviously don't know how to wean a baby bird or how they are supposed to eat.

Many birds start to wean, when they fledge, as they need to lose a bit of weight to get in the air.

When Max started to fly, he also refused hand feeding... He had been feeding on fruit, vegies and seeds for quite a few weeks beforehand.. I got worried for a bit, because I thought he got very thin, but apparently that's the natural cause of events.

Yeah he likes to take flight now n he just got good at flying longer air flights

It depends. If your bird is around weaning age, then this is whats supposed to happen. How ever, sometimes birds trick you into thinking they're weaned when they really aren't. It could be that he just wants to lose weight in order to fly. This doesn't mean he is weaned. Continue to give soft foods, fruits, and vegetables. If he doesn't want the formula, drop the morning feeding. I like to replace the morning feedings with soaked pellets just to make sure my bird is maintaining weight.
