Convincing parents to take bird to vet, help?

Okay, i will put him on his perch and see, will try to film

They don't ALWAYS do it 500% of the time, so try to act busy--- and film from a place he can't see you are filming (sometimes they get weird around cameras)...like, nervous etc..

Lol he just tried to eat the string that is attached to my phone case? I'll try from farther now

LOL--!

My thing is the weight and other stuff right now--- the tail-bobbing could be a non-issue, but either way, the weight is concerning.

Maybe it's because I didn't weigh consistent(ly?); one day in the morning, other at night, etc.

Well, that is possible, but it is still an awfully large jump from 77-85.

You can try doing it more consistently but if it were me, I would err on the side of caution. I know you have different circumstances, but just be very careful that you don't wait too long to seek assistance from a vet if needed.

Also- I just wanted to compliment you -- you are doing a tremendous job of taking initiative for your bird. I know it is hard when you can't call all of the shots, but I am sending you a mental high-five for your devotion lol!
