My adult QP Jack came to me as a Walmart seed addict. Yesterday, I got my order from Harrisons. I put high potency Fine pellets in his bowl and he took to them immediately. I also use them as treats. Boy did I get lucky!!

And that folks, is something to celebrate! :jumping40
Up next... fruits and veggies?

I am hoping Gamora will be this way! Just have to be able to get the food first. Right not the $ is tight!

I think baby birds are way easier to convert to pellets as a growing bird is always hungry and will eat pretty much anything. Happily my quaker baby has also taken to pellets straight away and loves his veg of course. However I had a real battle of wills with one of my mature cockatiels, a rescue bird, who point-blank refused to even recognise pellets as food for about 8 weeks and it drove both of us a little crazy! After trying every suggestion from the vet, the manufacturer, the internet etc etc I ended up grinding the pellets to a powder and sprinkling it over her seed to get her to recognise at least the taste. Et voila she was pretty much converted overnight and she looked at me wondering why I had been making such a fuss all that time........ foppin' bird!!!

Ooh and forgot to mention that virtually the moment she converted her diet her personality changed almost straight away from a bad tempered hissing nasty creature to just the sweetest most loveable darling girl who loved a big cuddle & LOTS of scratching so win win!!
