This morning I remarked to Ralph that he was about due for a bath. I told him to let me know if he felt like having a bath today. A few hours later at around 3:30, Ralph rattled his water dish. That's his usual way of telling me that it's bath time and he wants to be misted. I'm not convinced that was just a coincidence. I've been around parrots for a long time and I know they're capable of understanding things I say to them. I'm pretty sure that Ralph remembered that I suggested a bath this morning and let me know when he was ready.
