Just wondering because I'm finding conflicting information, is coconut, the whole thing, shell and flesh, ok for Too's to eat? One of my birds doesn't like it but the other one really seems to like it a lot but I'm a bit concerned about the fat content for him.

Cheers

Cockatoos are just prone to obesity (and liver issues)...I would feed in moderation.

That’s what is worrying me. My older boy, 70 odd, has had liver issues, had the start of fatty liver disease. Luckily he doesn’t like coconut. It the younger one, 25, is the one that loves it. Will keep it as a treat I think.
