Cockatiel Breeder Recommendations that ship via air

Hi, I'm James.

I'm looking for Breeder recommendations that ship via airline.

I live in Central New York and there is an Airport here serviced by Delta and United.

I'm looking for a DNA Tested Male, hand fed, hand raised, hand tame from a reputable breeder.

If you've bought from a breeder that ships by airline I'd like to hear your experience and recommendations.

Shipping a very young cockatiel by air sounds like it would be traumatic or even dangerous, and expensive. If you can't drive and expense isn't a problem, have you considered locating a breeder within a half day drive and hiring a driver to bring the bird to you? I think you could find a breeder in NJ, NY, or MA pretty easily.

As the number of Avian Qualified Vets continues to drop, it becomes very important that you have such a Vet near by as when, not if your parrot becomes ill, not having such a Vet ends-up with you watching your parrot die for lack of qualified care.
