Clip wings or not?

I would not leave on a harness if the bird is not outside, no purpose in it. Just like the above posting mentioned, they can hurt themselves if attached to the cage with a harness. If kept idol, they will chew on them, get tangled, etc.

My birds knows they can fly after they grew them back. But most of my birds don't even try to fly, they prefer to just climb down the cage, hop on the floor and start walking through the house looking for me. I can not leave my ekkies unattended for a sec, I think they have separation disorder or something cause they will fly onto the floor or fly around the house come searching for me if I even step out of the room for just a second. Some of them will scream hell on the play stand until I come back. They crack me up with the stuffs they do, crazy birds I tell ya....lol.....The only one that does best on a play stand is actually Willie the B&G, he stays on it and play and dance. He won't scream or hop off if I walk out for a sec.

I know it was a stupid question but it was a stupid question that had to be asked because I haven't sen one of those harnesses. Thanks all! Mickey your feedbacks have been tremendous (others too) but yours and Pedro's feedbacks have been great just wanted to let you know.

I appreciate everyone else's also so don't get offended but these two have posted on all my threads and answered my illy questions. Lol.

If you didn't have feet you probably couldn't run that fast...boy that would be frustrating! Let them Wings grow! when you take your parrot out put a harness on him! I got my baby ekkie from the breeder with clipped wings, he LOVES to fly around, I don't make him he just does it naturally, my poor baby runs out of breath because he struggles from his clipped wings but he just wants to fly fly fly! He wants to fly , just like us humans need to walk. So I'm letting them grow out so he can do what he was born to do. The parrot didn't adopt you, you adopted him, so you should contour to his needs as a parrot...is how I see it at least to each his own!
