NOT be caged together. They will breed. It is IRRESPONSIBLE to allow this if you are not an experienced breeder and can help babies if need be.

I have raised and sold over 300 bearded dragons, brd guinea pigs, raised multiple rodents as food, bred geckos. When he gets caught up into the young lady, he has no choice in the matter! This is part of God's design. Even with my experiences of raising multiple creatures successfully, I know I in no way could handle a baby bird! Yes, I have successfully rescued fledged mocking birds and was able to reintroduce them back into their natural habitat! Part of knowing what you are doing is to know when to back off, or to realize you really don't want to go this route! I am smart enough to know just how ignorant I am in certain areas! Sorry to say, I learned this the hard way! At my expense only? I wish!

If they are bonded enough to share a cage, they are bonded enough to potentially have babies. Parrots loooooove doing the Perch Polka so a male and female together is 100% asking for egg laying especially if the female is older. Maybe a seperate cage with supervised play time?
