when I first got Lincoln and I was a chop novice, i was cutting habanero peppers and touched my eyes needless to say I cried in a burning hot shower endlessly scrubbing my face for like an hour

Ditto. Salty's chop always contains a high percentage of super hot peppers, habenero and even ghost peppers, when I can get them. Made the mistake of making chop and then going to the john...... talk about real pain!! I curl up into fetal position even writing about it. I wear gloves now.

The ol' Rb has been a chile junkie since he was a baby, and yes, I have paid the price constantly.
The worst? When he has enjoyed some really hot ones, and then preened, and then perched on my shoulder, and then fluffed/flapped, essentially launching a capsaicin bomb in my face.
