Hi Everyone, I can't imagine that I have received so many reponse! Thank you for your love of pawpaw, advices and Encouragement! Unfortunately the pet store told me that Pawpaw can not be sent today, because they haven't got the quarantine certificate for Pawpaw yet. Sadly I need to wait for more time.....But I have already been waiting for more than ten years so it's alright.(but I still felt unhappy you know) they told me that next week will be fine so I hope Pawpaw can arrive

Yes it is really disappointing......now I have to stay with the empty cage. But thank you! I feel much better now.

So sorry to hear that. I would be disappointed too. I hope she gets there soon! Maybe in the meantime you could make her some toys or treats to keep you occupied. I often did that when waiting for Ona to come home.

Finally get Pawpaw! SO cute and lovely! Pawpaw even stand on my hand and fly to my head only few hours after we first meet. Love it so much！！！

As you see in the first photo the pet store only gave pawpaw a small cage which is already changed shape.......I plan to take pawpaw to vet tomorrow then let it have a rest time, not disturbing he or she for the next couple of days. Then maybe I can start to built bond with him

So glad Pawpaw made it to you!!! I can only imagine how excited you are to have him/her home. A vet visit for an initial checkup is a great idea. And it sounds like Pawpaw is already interested in you!

My goodness it does look like the travel cage took a beating Is that poo on Pawpaw's head or was he/she injured? Hard to tell in the photos.

I bet it was a long journey for Pawpaw but once that baby settles in your new life can start together! Congratulations!

Its a good idea to have a complete physical examination & tests done by a qualified Avian Vet when you get a new parrot. THis way the doctor has a base line on all of the parrots health, if something happens in the future. He will know what the healthy levels were when he was in good shape.

Went to vet today. The good thing is pawpaw is not injured, (its wings is a little bit droop so I was worried that it might be hurt during the journey), and pawpaw was a healthy bird because there are no infections. However, pawpaw is being the "stress response" during the airline journey, so it's stomach is bleeding. I am so sad and sorry. The vet alreaady give me some drugs and I hope those drugs will work and Pawpaw can get better. I was really moved that even in illness Pawpaw is still trying be close to me and wants to attract my attention. Hope he or she will recover!

Thank you！I am so excited when I first see Pawpaw. Pawpaw seems to be really like me! He or she is keep calling me when I ignore him.
I am angry that the travel cage is so small and not hard enough. It's already damaged during the journey. There is only a poo on Pawpaw's head, however when visit the vet today she told me that Pawpaw is the "stress reponse" and stomach bleeding. She gave me some drugs, and I hope Pawpaw will recover very soon.

Update some pictures of the test......Pawpaw's bones are alright but stomach is bleeding. Hope he will get better!
