Sugar the Blue Crown Conure♂, Merlin the Camelot Macaw♂
Merlin is getting to be a handful hes coming out of his shell even more and getting into trouble XD hes very adventurous!!! We've been going outside more when its warm enough and sunny.

What a NICE treat!!! Merlin is looking BEAUTIFUL...and so are you, young lady. :D You are doing such an awesome job with him!!!!

haha thanks he does that when he wants me to scratch his head and if twisting it upside down doesnt work he will head butt me LOL he just walks up close and uses his beak to hit me in the face and stays there until i scratch his head XP!

what's the difference between a camelot macaw, is it their colours, or is it a different mutation of macaw?

@crimson a Camelot Macaw is a hybrid produced by taking a Catalina Macaw which is a cross between a Blue&Gold and a Scarlet and then breeding with a Scarlet Macaw to produce a Camelot Macaw. Merlins mom was a Catalina and his dad was a Scarlet. There are two versions of a Camelot one is the normal like Merlin and then there is also a yellow dominant Camelot which is the same breeding but happens to have a yellow gene making most the green yellow.

I understand, thanks for clearing that up for me....I don't know much about macaws other that they are huge and spectacular looking:rolleyes:

I made it. I bought organic all natural hemp rope from online but I cant remember where :/
