I use that too but it has a color to it (yellow)and my birds notice that right away and are apprehensive about drinking it. It also has a smell to it. I dont think they like the taste of it either.Vetafarm's Calcivet is an excellent liquid calcium supplement.
I would be interested in hearing your bad experience. I did too but they made it right.I had a bad experience with a morning bird product so I tend to avoid them. My budgies aren't that fussy but I can see how some birds are.
I remember reading this in a different thread. Sorry about that.I was hand feeding a 3 week old baby budgie, Rocky. My usual formula was out so I mixed up some morning bird formula and fed it to Rocky one evening. In the morning all her overnight poops were pink! I thought she was bleeding so I rushed her to the avian vet. He examined her poops through a microscope and there was no blood. Some unidentified ingredients had combined inside Rocky to tint her poops pink. Scared me to death! Rocky was fine but I never used that formula again.
I use HealthygutMorning Bird has a probiotic I was looking at. Any experience with that?
