Cage Bar Spacing

I just bought a new cage for my sun conure, the bar spacing is 1 1/2 inches, is that too large? I am pretty sure that it is, so what is the maximum bar spacing for a bird of his size?

I would look for less than an inch for a sun conure - I think mine is 1/2 or 5/8 spacing. I’d be a little concerned about them fitting their head through the bars - I know that if there’s trouble to get into ...mine will find it

Yeah seems really to wide. I know from my little green cheek he could literally squeeze through that.... I know he's smaller than a sun conure, but yeah that sounds more like a very large animal size spacing.
