I have never had a grey that cuddled before but Iago (9 yr old rescue) has begun to cuddle every day for a while and close his eyes for a nap while in my arms much like a cat. He is certainly the sweetest (and smartest) grey I've ever had.
He is still having to relearn playing but doing well. He loves to shred anything!
