That sounds AWESOME! Do y ou ever go thru a making session like that only to have them not eat it? Thats my only fear with doing something that scale.

I'm lucky that both my fids seem to love pretty much any mix I give them. Each day I put their bowls in with some kinds of cookable, chop, or mash and it's silence except for beaks clinking for a good 15-20 minutes lol.[/QUOTE

I have used the prepackaged cookable mixes lots of times too. They're a lot faster than cooking a bunch of things separately, chopping, etc. You can portion those out to freeze for easy use. I've used lots of different types, Higgens Worldly Cuisines, Bird Street Bistro, Volkmans, Crazy Corn. They love them all. Sometimes I've added something to one, for instance, they both love brown rice so I will cook some of that and mix it in with a cookable that doesn't contain rice, or not much rice.
