You want something that is 18" deep, as in, front to back BARE minimum--- that's not ideal though. That sounds much too small, honestly. That having been said, it's better than getting stuck, but again, I do think it sounds quite small

Lots of room for toys, solid brand etc, wide/deep


That Amazon link says the cage is for cockatoos and even the smallest cockatoo would tear that up and go crazy in there-- so I wouldn't trust that company. My medium cockatoo weights 1 lb 2oz...

Would that be a better option? I managed to haggle price down on the other to $230 as well and its a 40mins drive to get it. But if this cage is bigger/better should I wait the delivery time? (Thanks again like rlly <3 )

It just depends-- I mean, I think you want to go as large as possible...It is a gamble as far as what happens between now and then. I 'd never advocate covering during the day, but if that has worked, MAYBE it will prevent damage between now and delivery, but hard to say with certainty
