Budgie sleeping a lot

Hey so today i woke up and one of my 2 budgies is really acting odd hes just sleeping on the top of his cage all he wants to do is sleep!! Anyone have any experience with this any help would be appriecieated?

How is he otherwise? Poop ok? Is he sleeping on one foot as normal? Perhaps he's just having a sleepy day? Maybe he didn't sleep well last night.

something sounds off, especially when budgies want to sleep

they are highly energetic birds that have way too much chatter(that's why I have a pair

Shayne- momtopercy asked most of the good questions, the only thing I might want to know is he sleeping with his head tucked?

birds have steps or degrees of not feeling well
First sign- sleepy/not eating as much or not at all
2nd -sleepy/fuffy
3rd-sleeping with head tucked
4th-sleeping with both feet on perch & head tucked
5th-bottom of cage sleeping
6th-lets not go there

Yea hes been trying to have a nap with his head tucked?
Other than that hes eating drinking and acting normal
It was a bit cooler than usual in my room this morning for some reason and i turned the heat up and its normal now but his feet were cold this morning? Could that be part of it?

I would monitor him to be sure but it could be that he was a bit chilly. From everything else you've described it seems to me that he was just sleepy and/or chilly, nothing more. But PLEASE keep an eye on him to make sure.

Yea hes having a nap on my shoulder for a bit hes getting more rowdy so i think he was just a bit chilly

sometimes birds sleep more to conserve heat and energy....
