His behavior is exactly like a chicken taking a dirt bath or sun bathing. If he doesn't have mites he's just being a spoiled happy parakeet! What a cutie!

Budgies *usually* don't lay down.... they aren't the kind of species to do that.... so it *IS* odd to see a budgie laying down when he is otherwise healthy!!!!


But he is SO DARN CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is so cute and I agree budgies are so under-rated, have to be up there with my favorite bird species hehe so cute! They are such little clowns!

I had a great shock seeing our budgie George on his back like a lorikeet, playing with a toy... it was hilarious
