Today is day 10 of Buddy being with us. The last three days he won't come out of his new cage I think he likes it. He's been making new sounds and whistles, eating more variety of different fruit and veg and today he has been teasing the dogs. Not kidding. He goes the bottom of the cage, gets to eye level and starts making sounds. Canelo the bulldog was sniffing him, touched buddy's toe and Buddy growled at him but didn't run. He's climbed down several times this morning but I can't get a video yet, I keep missing the moment.

Monday Buddy came out and sat on my shoulder while I was working. I was sitting at my PC and Buddy kept following the mouse arrow. I got him a foraging wheel and he's showing interest in it but hasn't figured it out yet. I've been showing him but may take time. I'm working on playing, he doesn't and he doesn't shred. I got a trinket box with shredded paper and it honey seed balls in it for him to find. Well, I put the box on a table while I was cleaning his cage. It got knocked off and Canelo found it and it took him no time to find and eat the honey seed balls. He's such a pig, lol. Buddy didn't learn from that lesson, lol. He's making great progress. Today I'm hoping he will join me and we can work on training him to get in a carrier, this will be interesting. :green1:

I'm glad he's doing so well <3 It has to be a species trait, Merlin likes to tease the dog too. Be careful, they're very brave, & other pets could hurt him. Maybe add a bell to his toys? Merlin loves bells :D Just continue to be patient, it hasn't been a lot of time. I would sit his carrier where he can see it, after a few weeks maybe put his favorite food close to the carrier & move it closer as he gets brave enough to eat it. Good luck!

Buddy is just taking things easy getting used to all the new changes.

Glad to hear that he us trying different varieties of fruit and veggies.

In time he will get used to his foraging wheel, then the fun really begins.
