Brought Bongo home tonight

Thanks. She is a very sweet bird. We don't know her story or how she ended up at the sanctuary but she has a forever home now.

Her story now goes like this.... My wife and I went to a local rescue/sanctuary to adopt or foster a parrot. As soon as I walked into the Macaw aviary I heard a "cat whistle" and looked over and saw her sitting in the window. All the other Macaws were just screeching very loud because of a "foreigner" in their home. She came right over to me and let me pet her. within a day of spending time with her I was holding her and I knew she was the one.

we've had an exciting couple days learning about each other. I have found that she likes to regurgitate on my toes, growl at our Chihuahua, and making barking sounds. She also likes to be put on her back and have her tummy and under her wings scratched.
