Bird smell

I got a close up sniff of Bella my CAG.
I can’t smell her feathers but I got nose to beak with her.
what I smelled was sour milk.
It makes me wonder if she has a sour crop or something.

Just FYI I know on the very few occasions I have been close to a parrot when they were being hormonal and regurgitated food that is what it smelled like. I guess it is half digested so possibly normal. Anyway, it certainly had the complete opposite effect on me than the one I’m sure was intended.
