Bird breeders lung

No. This condition can happen to anyone who inhaled too much dander over long periods of time.

It takes a lot tho.... or it takes a sensitivity
Usually with unsanitary conditions and poor air flow...

Usually it happens when you have a LOT of birds around, basically a room full! If i's just one or a few birds, you're fine.

I have a mate who has it, he is one steroids every day to keep him healthy

Wear a mask is the best prevention

So its mainly with people who breed or who keep lots of birds in a small place. How common is it for people to get it.

It's very rare, usually you get it if you have large bird aviaries with large amounts of birds and you don't wear a mask while cleaning it

In your case, almost zero chance of getting it

If you are having an allergic reaction, that is NOT the same. People can be allergic without this condition.
