Okay, so way off topic for parrot forums... but anyone who is an orange lover, we've purchases Sunkist Cara Cara #3110 oranges twice so far this year and they have been SO SO good. Best oranges in years. Sweet and messy juicy.

Thought I'd share just in case, like me, you were losing hope of ever buying another delicious orange from the grocery store!!

I also had honey tangerines the other week that were wonderful too, but cannot find them again :(

I'm not much into oranges myself, but it they're good enough to tell us about, then I'm sure they're wonderful! The last time I craved and ate an orange was when I was very hungry and thirsty and no other food was around at the moment.

What I am really into are Satsuma tangerines. SO good. Very little if any seeds, and the rind fits loose on the fruit so it just peels off in one swipe!

This IS the Orange forum isn't it?? Jen, why is there a parrot at the top of the page?

LOLOL!!!!

Ivory likes them too, she was wrestling me for orange when I had one today!!

The parrot is up there for us orange lovers to remember to feed our parrots well!

I'm not much of a fruit eater. I like vegetables better (I know, weird). I do like melons, strawberries, raspberries, frozen blueberries.

You won't believe who has really good frozen blueberries.... Walmart, their brand too! I make a killer blueberry pie and one was requested out of season once, so figured, what the heck, try them... was one of the best blueberry pies I ever made! Now we use them all the time for the pies, my nutribullet blends, put in birdie bread, pancakes! :)

Ha! Thanks for the explanation. :)

...oh, forgot to mention white peaches too. Makes me sad when they go out of season. They're coming soon. :)

Walmart? I'll remember that. That's probably cheaper than buying fresh and freezing myself. I know they're pretty inexpensive compared to the grocery store for the same items.
We have a store here called .99 Only stores. They have surprisingly nice (and cheap) produce.

I also admit to buying froze pineapples for my bullet blends. When buying a pineapple, we are pretty good with picking a sweet ripe one (you can find me literally smelling the bottom of every pineapple at the store...). But the frozen pineapple is ALWAYS so sweet, it's not a good buy price wise, but guaranteed it will be tasty for the bullet blends. Now I'm getting myself hungry for a blend....

The white peaches... I am guessing you buy from a local produce market? We had a couple good peaches last year, but it was luck of the draw, in same purchase, some were ehhh. Or maybe I just am a better pineapple picker then a peach picker!

I just buy the peaches at the grocery store. If they're in season they're usually always good. Towards the end of the season it's hit or miss.

The white ones taste really different from the yellow ones. I think the white ones are sweeter, where yellow has a bit more tart flavor?
