Parrots
Pepper, a Timneh African Grey
The more we look into it, the more I want an TAG! I have done lots of internet reading but I'd love to read a few books. Anybody have any recommendations?

All of them are by Barron's.

African grey parrots a complete pet owners manual
The African grey parrot handbook
Guide to companion parrot behavior
Guide to a well behaved parrot

I've read them all in prep for my baby coming home soon.

Enjoy

A good general parrot book is Good Parrotkeeping by Robin Deutsch

Another book by her is The Healthy Bird Cookbook: A Lifesaving Nutritional Guide and Recipe Collection [Hardcover]
Robin Deutsch (Author). I haven't bought it yet but I plan to

There are numerous books. I have read two and done endless internet research. They are useful, but I have found that there is some great information right here on this forum and feel free to ask any questions to other grey owners. I have found the books can be confusing and hard to understand if you've never owned a grey. But that's just me. Lots of great people here who will help and inform you of anything you need to know. Good luck in your search!!

Thanks everybody! I found one book on greys at a thrift shop today but its terribly out of date. Lots of things with care are still useful but I am definitely gonna check those books you mentioned out! And I have been doing lots of research online, too, so if anybody knows any excellent websites that would be fabulous!
