Baron Von Bonkers

He is really starting to warm up to me he will let me do pretty much everything with him. Quick question though he does absolutely hates my mom what can I do to make him at least tolerate her

He is aware of the relationship between Mother and Son! The best and fastest way to get to at least tolerate is to have your Mother provide and be the only one that provides that something that he truly Loves! Consider at least several items and with a little time, toleration will occur!

That's a way better plan than rehoming my mother

You're kiliin' me! ;)

No massive updates bonkers is doing great he plays and sings and he loved sitting in the window sill looking at all the trick or treaters. He still hasn't bitten me just a few warning pinches and he makes the funniest dinosaur sound when he is getting excited. Overall he is the perfect parrot for me and my family(mom excluded).

Update: he is still an amazing bird my mom gets on his nerves. Is it bad to have a lot in common with your bird lol. Also he is becoming more active and adventuresome and is talking in context more.

Me and bonkers are doing fantastic here is a picture of him relaxing in my hand. I have only been bitten once and that was a displacement bite and it didn't break skin. He fits into the family perfectly he eats dinner with us and does laundry and anything else he can be included in.

Bonkers and I are really enjoying the holiday season together I can tell that he is starting to get a little more hormonal but We are managing that quite well. I am pretty positive that I couldn't have found a bird that's fits into my family better and I have all you guys to thank.

All your friends here, myself included, are happy beyond words that your family and you have been blessed with the Baron! As you and your's enjoy this first Holiday Season with a new family member, may it be filled with new traditions all of you can enjoy for years too come. A Very Merry Christmas to your 'larger' family and you!
