Bar Spacing?

Hi I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if 1 and 3/8 inches is okay bar spacing for a blue and gold macaw?

I believe that might be too big. From my research I've herd some sites say 1 inch to 1.5 inches or 1 1⁄2 is best.

1 3/8 is 1/8 under 1 1/2... and yes it should be fine for a BG.
