Japie (m) & Appie (f), both are congo african grey;
All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
Rozalka is banned because I had to cycle in the rain to the shop and I got so soaked even the sockparts in my shoes got wet!

Rozalka is banned for being cold.
(No fun- it always takes some getting used to.)
Today we had some dutch celeb-biologist(?) and his cameracrew filming in the tropical (and largest) greenhouse. Always a crazy day on friday
today was extra-crazy (a nice way to end november, right?)
DutchCaptain says hello btw- she (yup DNAresults are in!) was in Utrecht for a follow-up with her owner of course and I got to meet them.
(No fun- it always takes some getting used to.)

He is really, really busy with work and taking great care of Captain of course.
(He is still going home every lunchbreak to spend time with her, playing, eating veggies together etc.)
Living in NL as an expat is quite a challenge I think- we have some crazy customs and are very direct.
Captain is a really gorgeous young macaw ( I wish Sunny would look that good) -no longer a clumsy baby: the weaning is going very well now and she flies (indoors)!
(He is still going home every lunchbreak to spend time with her, playing, eating veggies together etc.)

Rozalka is being banned because today I found a larger (secondhand) cage/aviary for Sunny (still not ideal but better). It will not be here for a few weeks...but maybe "the miracle before X-mass" ?

smbrds is banned because this morning we had the loveliest pink-tinted clouds and the sun is actually shining (cold though)
Smbrds is banned for not sending some of your excess rain from Florida to Queensland! (Eeeeek, be careful what you wish for... next thing you know we will probably get flooded!)

I ban everyone who has cooler weather. This is a firm ban not easily unbanned save for inclement weather.

LeaKP is banned because I keep reading her name as "Leaky Pee" and hate myself for it.
