So Iāve been double checking everything in the house, particularly to make sure there isnāt anything that needs to be replaced before MÄui comes home. And I just realised that 4 pieces of my bakeware have non-stick coating. One is my pie tin, which i rarely use but you literally canāt buy an aluminium pie tin anywhere. The others are my cheapo muffin pan and 2 cookie sheets which look very dubious - thankfully I can replace those! Unfortunately I can only find anodised aluminium options.
Is anodised aluminum safe for birds?
Also, does anyone else bake? What do you do about your bakeware? Does it really matter that much considering it goes in the oven, so any fumes would be contained and pulled out by the internal fan anyway?
