How often can you feed a baked potato to your birds? with or without the skin?

how much and the best way to cook it? Can I do it in the microwave?

thanks:D

I wouldn't cook anything in a microwave (dead food) but that's just me.

There's not much nutrition in a potato, it's a filler food.....if you're eating a baked and/or nuked potato every day, maybe a tablespoon a day, provided you know they are getting/eating nutrients from other foods.....

Jasmine loves mashed up baked potato - I only give her a bit when we eat them but she makes kissy noises when she sees it! And her 'mashed potato face' when she dives right in is adorable. So an occasional treat I would say :)

Butternut squash is usually readily accepted

ohh, I love squash, maybe I'll keep that for my self...well maybe I can give them just a little :)

I give my fids baked potatoes occasionally, and they all love it.

There is Potassium, protein, calcium, iron, Vit B6, B12, and Magnesium in potatoes, so I don't think it will do ANY harm. :)
