tomorrow at 4:30pm pst...that's 20.5 hrs from now. Holy moly...I'm so excited I can't stand myself.

YAAAAAAAAAAAY So exciting!!!! I want to post so many GIFS to express my feelings of excitement for you but this isn't tumblr *cries*

Have you and your husband thought of any name ideas? I know you said he wanted to wait until he saw the adorable fluffy bird, but you must have a few names you might be interested in :D

Here's a video of a galah that just got to it's new home to help you know what to expect. He'll probably be a little scared for very good reason. No matter what don't take him out at the air port(you probably new that though LOL) Everything he's ever known in his entire life has completely changed and he'll most likely be a little, if not a lot, scared! The below bird is 7 weeks, so probably still on one or two feedings a day.

You can tell this galah is very unsure because the front of the crest is up, but the back of the crest is down. A excited happy galah will have the whole crest up, and a aggressive galah will have the crest up as well as the hackles, or the crest held down and and the back of the crest up(like Rosie in my signature pic, except hers are like that from me petting her)

No names yet lol the only name I have is cora.

Definitely NOT letting him out until we get home. I don't want anything bad or crazy happening anywhere in between. Lol

I guess I'll have to relearn reading body language- not used to a baby with a crest!! Haha

lol it won't to hard learning the body language since you already know birds, cockatoos are extremely expressive with those fluffy feathers.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I am so excited for you! I look forward to seeing pictures of your new fluffy baby! rb2's are sooooo much fun!

Happy birthday. How exciting for you. Can't wait for the updates and photos. :)

I love 'toos and 'tiels for this.

Even my english Budgie manages to raise his errr 'crest' to express himself too, but it's nowhere near as obvious as 'toos! I love it, you can see how excited they are, how grumpy they are. I don't think it's hard to read a 'too (unless you've got a manipulative one ;))

Happy Birthdayyyy! You must be so excited, we expect pictures pictures pictures!

We're on our way up to the airport now to try and avoid/deal with traffic and I just checked the flight status- it's delayed by half hour so ETA is now 4:55pm
