Aviator harness for Poppy

Hi everyone, I´ve been looking to purchase the harness for Poppy but what size would she take XS? The cockatiels in our aviary are bigger than her, not sure which size would be best for a CBC?

Thanks hopefully it will go smooth (I hope), as we´re moving to the villa we´ll be outdoors most of the time by the pool so we need to get her a harness.

It wont be easy but you will get there. The head loop can be a bit harder to slip on and off with smaller birds and this can pose some problems in the beginning. Keep us updated

We do ok getting ours on...but he is so busy wanting to bite the chest piece that he doesnt enjoy himself outside. I try to feed him all sorts of treats while we are outside to distract him. Oh well...at least hes safe.

Oh it is definately doable It is just a little harder with smaller birds than it is with larger birds due to the ratios. design and material. I sell the aviator in Australia and am constantly warning people with smaller birds as it is definately more difficult and many people go in thinking they will have the bird in the harness in minutes (it can happen but not likely). My hahns was muuuch harder than the galah I am caring for.

Yes, the head loop/collar part is the ONLY part Gilbert fussed about at first. He has learned how to hold his head to make it easy, and i've learned a technique to make it quick. You can do it!!

Petite is definitely the right size. ALTHOUGH, the head loop is small, and not easy to get on and off. Fiji hates that part, but once it's on we immediately go outside and he gets distracted. I was thinking about ordering another harness in XS, just to see if the head loop was easier. The body portion of the "petite" fits a GCC perfectly. I just wish the head loop was a little bigger.
