I'm using a very old picture of my Sam as an example. I promise, he's NOT a happy camper right there. :D

Have fun...and let's see those GRUMPY BIRDS of yours (but stay safe taking them). :D

My idea!

I'm sure I'll get a very good grumpy bird since I am leaving her for 2 weeks in August :54: Looking forward to all the entries!!

Just for fun:

Too bad we can't do this as a video. I guarantee Kiwi would win hands down.... Ever see a mad Parrotlet, it's not a pretty sight. :30:

Maybe I should enter Kick in this one, all I have to do is go anywhere near his cage (or even in that general direction) and he turns in to a little Rottweiler! Too bad you all can't hear a picture, he makes some interesting very angry sounds!

Oh, yeah, he got his name "Kick" short for "kicked out" since he was already kicked out of his previous owners home and it was way better than the other things I have been calling him!

I just have to wipe his droppings near him and *bam* he is outraged and attacks the tissue/wipe. which is weird because he is such a sweet bird and doesnt get angry easily. but tissues and wipes, nope that just crosses the line XD

I do NOT want my poop wiped!!

Awesome photo and that is a super cute lovebird!

My cockatiel couldn't be grumpy even if he tried! i wish i took some pictures when i first got him--he was constantly biting and screeching. He's calmed down quite a lot now :)

Oh my gosh!!!:eek: silversage that bird could kill us with his eyes!!!
those eyes look like they are ready to shoot laser beams. o.0

but besides that , he is sooo cute. :3

Get out of my box!

Why, Wendy - You mean that isn't amazon for pick me up?!

I thought when they flip flap their wings like that they wanted... OOWWW! GOD! THAT SUCKER JUST BIT ME...

Not sure I have any grumpy pics...

Hahahaha! Foofany is ADORABLE!

Silversage- she looks like she's using some pretty bad birdie language too! And I thought zons were the ones with the most visibly angry pupils.

Oh my gosh you have no idea. I KNOW when the scream is coming. This isn't even a good one, because she isn't flexing her "mane"! Lol! Yeah she was pretty upset! Phoenix had somehow managed to get up on that baby gate in the first few days she was home, and was very displeased. I went to take a picture of her and she screamed. Come to find out, she HATES the camera! And me...

Oh, and those eyes aren't as bad as they were the moment before! Her pupils go down to a pin prick!

"Hey...we've just had our baths and now you want us to get up on your grubby, filthy finger?! Fat chance! Go away and leave us alone!!!"

Ah, Dani! Don't I know that look well! It's the same one Maya gets anytime Jolly flies too close by her head! Usually accompanied by gale force wing flapping! Hahaha!

Oh my gosh!!!:eek: silversage that bird could kill us with his eyes!!!
those eyes look like they are ready to shoot laser beams. o.0

Just FYI, with eclectus parrots, the males are green with candy corn colored beaks and the females are red and blue/purplish with black beaks.

But I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment. If looks could kill...

Okay this is an "unofficial entry." I used to use this photo when I was teaching bird handling classes because - Well - it perfectly illustrated my point in a way that leaves a lasting impression...

This probably won't do big-beak-o-phobes any favors:

PARROT BITES NOSE

(The topic by the way, was on why we don't allow young, untrained macaws [who are excitable and displacement bite] on shoulders.)

"MOM, I DON'T LIKE THAT!!!"
