Okay good because. Picked up some small green ones at fry's today and I couldn't remember what kind they were. I've tried giving them diced bell peppers but the birds don't seem to be big fans of them. Of course they love their not so nutritious apples. At least they like green beans and carrots :):D

My Rio absolutely LOVES peppers! I got some red/yellow/and orange peppers and chopped them up and put them in a container in the freezer. Then I can just thaw out a pinch of them for him. He pretty much expects it everyday now! lol

Rio Mom, I wish my ekkies are that easy....They expect something different all the time, if they don't like something, they toss it out. Something they don't really like, you expect that thing is 4ft away from their cage. I sweep and wipe the floor around them everyday and wipe down their cage all the time. Very messy eaters, very picky too!!!!

My Ruby loves fresh banana peppres - lots more than she likes plain bell peppers.

I've only had him for a little over 3 weeks, so I've been trying different veggies and fruits. He will eat cucumbers, gave the celery a fling, I want to try some other veggies with him. He of course loves fruit: apples, watermellon, bananas, etc, but doesnt get it as often due to all the sugar.

They seem to like them. We'll see sometimes it takes them a week or so to really like a new food.

how much do you guys feed peppers? a small one a day is ok? my Melon loves the mini organic red peppers lol

I feed very spicy peppers- scotch bonnets or jalepinos- almost every day chopped ur pureed into her food. Sometimes I will buy a bigger chilli pepper and just hang it in her cage and over a day she'll demolish the whole thing, seeds and all. I understand spicy peppers are good for their hearts?

the ones I feed is small organic jalapenos, red and yellow, and my kids love them haha

I give Kalypso dried Chili Peppers. Kalypso isnt big on fresh foods yet so I am trying to transiton to fresh peppers and then to other veggies. Is corn safe for birds? Kalypso loves it and I am not sure if she can have it.
