Do you think there is anything I could/should hang on the cage to kind of provide "cover" for Sisqo when he just doesn't want to fool with us or when he sleeps? Kind of like the Happy Hut things, but he doesn't much go for those. Don't know if it's really necessary, though. He seems to be content with his sleeping corner for now.

Neither of mine like the happy huts either. All I do with my two is just cover there cage with like a bed sheet at night for when they sleep. Keeps them quiet and keeps any drafts out. Thats my only suggestion if you don't already do that. If you don't do it, Sisqo might not me too happy about something covering his cage but he will get used to it quickly. The first few nights having Pepsi home she growled when we covered her cage (probably was never ever covered up) Now she don't mind to much and when she gets uncovered in the morning, she is so happy like a kid at Christmas.

Don't know if that helps you out at all but thats what I do.

yeah just hang a fleece type blanket in a corner you can use some clips to help it stay in place so he has a little place where he feels safe I would think this would work well especially for larger birds

My little guys are covered with a bed sheet, but Bucc will not be covered, the last time we covered him up, he worked on that sheet all night till he had got a hole large enough to see out off. :D He's a bit like his Mum, Nosey. :D

I couldnt afford the cage covers but got really cheap curtains that are lined.. I needed both to cover the cage.

I got real lucky with my cage cover ... I work at a place where we use fleece blanket a lot ... and my company changes these blankets every three months ... well when we change these blankets we are supposed to "throw them away ... " they are 60 in. x 60 in. and the last time we changed them I promised my boss that I would, "throw them away" at my house! :) so I now have 2 60 in. fleece blankets that cover his cage ...

What's really nice about this set up is that the blankets only cover the top 1/2 of the cage which is were Ham's happy-hut (which he won't sleep without now, kinda like a baby with a blanket) so he feels really safe inside the hut, under the blankets ... there are aslo two sets of perches that aren't covered so in the morning when he's ready to get out of the cage it's like going "downstairs" from his bedroom when he's on those perches we know he is ready to get up. He really does have the best of both worlds ... and, damn it, I hope he knows that! :D

Have you tried one of them sleeping blindfolds the airlines give you?

Have you tried a tailor made Falconeers hood?

I hope not, coz they are both stoopid ideas.
