OK so some of you might remember a post I made previously about wandering if Daisy was a boy or girl I have a few more questions and updated pics to maybe get some new ideas.

ok so I read somewhere that males are a lot more fascinated with mirrors than girls - I don't know if anyone has heard of this or not? Daisy is obsessed with my hand held mirror on my dressor anywhere I move it she runs after it and spends forever in front of it and fusses when I take it away - Misty will look at it peck a couple of times then walk away. Daisy is definitally more vocal than Misty as well as more playfull and exuberant.

Finally, here are some pics from the last time I posted about this and then some updated ones from today.

her side/back - last time http://s133.photobucket.com/albums/q56/ ... isy002.jpg

today

and her tail last time

and this time

I would think she is a definate boy except she has two tail feathers with kinda stripes.

OH and she is seven months old

thanks guys!

Kelli I can't see any content in those photo albums. Are you going to keep calling her Daisy?

How's Misty and Sidney been doing?

I would think you got yourself a little boy cockatiel. Is Daisy housed with Misty or seperatly? Is there baby cockatiels in the future? :p

they are housed together and I am so HOPING for babies I would really love that and even if I couldn't find homes for them it would still be ok - I would just get a big flight cage and keep the family together. but yeah I want baby teils SO SOOOO bad - I can't say I'm dissapointed at all that she is a he. May I ask why you think so? I'm trying to get as many different ideas as possible.
thanks tracy!

A good indicator that the bird is a he is that bright yellow head.
