Totally incredible how they develop, isn't it? I have goosebumps now knowing that's how my babies started off. I mean, of course I knew they started as an egg, lol, but you know....the visual is just AMAZING.

Great post Antoinette. I have some Zon eggs in the incubator ATM. It is so interesting waiting & watching them grow. My eggs have about 2 weeks left to hatch.

Zebra finches hatch at the same stage of development shown in about the 14th picture there. My supervisor recently cataloged them like this... I got to take pictures for the final stage (day 1 hatchling) ^_^
