Acting funny

So the past week or so Rocka has been acting differently, puffed out, perturbed acting. She just turned 1 year this month. It doesn't seem like she's happy. She screams when she's out of the cage and kind of overly seems unhappy. She's eating and drinking just fine. Is this a hormonal, coming of age thing or could she be sick?

It could be that it is hormones. The being fluffed up though would worry me, and maybe a check up at an avian vet is in order just to make sure that everything is okay with her.

I would say it's hormones but a vet checkup wouldn't hurt as it would give you a peace of mind. :)

Well she's definitely healthy. Now she has a new issue. This march she turned one and now is starting to lose the larger feathers during her baby feather molting process. She has become so aggressive to anyone besides my boyfriend. Today while on the top of her cage, my bf's grandmother walked by and Rocka started chasing her with her mouth open trying to bite. She's bitten me and other people who before she had no problem with. Great.

Well after a week with me, she's back to being nice. I was even able to put her flight suit on today :) ImageUploadedByTapatalk1397249310.756936.jpg
