A Play Stand For Poppy

Haha Julie, the manufacturers get all the credit for the skewers, Poppy ate squash and broccoli off the skewers today so I'm thrilled.

The little guys inherited Poppy's old stand, it was actually theirs, but Poppy took it for herself. Sweet Pea and the budgies love the hanging gyms, the quakers hate everything. I guess the new stand is just for Poppy. It was an awful coincidence, but Poppy got her new stand on Harry's second Gotcha' day. Harry got new toys and fresh birdie bread so she didn't care.

YIPPPEEEEE!!!!! Poppy's decided to play on it! :D I love it, Allee! She'll have so much fun on it, no doubt in my mind. :D

We have the same playstand :D Best purchase ever.

I'm really pleased with the quality and it's Poppy's new happy place! I love the skewers on the sides.

When ordering something online it's always nice to see that it's good quality when you get to see it in person. My cages were all ordered online, and it's hit or miss. I never quite knew the quality until it was in my hands. Good to know your stand is a nice one. Even nicer to know Poppy loves it!

Most of the metal stands I've seen are kind of bare. This one is so great that it makes use of all the areas, and has many toy hangers.

Alle I thought I would let you know. The main bars to the stand...... BB had a hard time with those. Way to slick for him. I wrapped them this weekend with Sissal rope. WONDERFUL. It added a lot of climbing area for him. I wish I had taken a picture. :(

The bars you have the skewers attached to is what I wrapped.

Thank you, Christine! That's a great idea, I'm also thinking about adding a wood perch over the toy bar at the top, my goofy girl is using the thin bar as a tightrope and I'm afraid she'll fall. Yesterday, I caught her swinging by her beak from one of the toy rings, feet dangling in the air, pretending to be a toy?

LOL That is why I had to remove mine. He freaked me out swinging on it. You will not regret adding the sisal rope. Gives so much more climbing area to the stand. I had enough to do one side. Going to store at lunch to buy more. Was not sure if Cotton or the sisal would be better.

I'm definitely going to wrap the sides of Poppy's stand. Maybe sisal on one side and cotton on the other and let the owners choose?

That is a nice looking stand and Poppy looks very happy with it.
