Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(
And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...my poor little boy.. I couldn't sleep last night so I stayed up on the computer watch You Tube vids and such. Around 4:30am I heard all sorts of thrashing and crashing coming from the living room.
I quickly got up with a flash light and little BB was banging himself around in his tidy bowl feeder ( for some reason he likes to sleep in there, maybe coz it's enclosed on three sides and he feels safe?)
So I shined the light not directly at him and talked softly and reassuring to him.
Opened up his front door and asked him to come to me. He stunbled around a bit, prolly still sleepy, and I coaxed him onto my fingers.
His hat was high in the sky and I cupped my hand around him gently, telling him I was here and every thing will be ok.
He was trembling a bit as I kissed his head and face reassuring him. He didn't budge or say a word or make a sound.
It took about five minutes before he took his hat off,as I was still loving on him.
He finally calmed down enough to put him back in his house as he said "BB good boy?"
I told him yes BB,you are a very good boy. He nodded back off in minutes.
I never had a fid that experienced these frights and it freaks me out when he has one..probably the fourth or fifth one that I KNOW of
sighhhhh
