This is what we do in our house on a lazy Sunday morning:

We wake up late, and maybe we are a little cranky ...

Then we have a BIG breakfast with a special Sunday treat, scrambled eggs. After breakfast

we lounge on the sofa in a nice soft blanket for a little while ...

Finally, after a lot of convincing from Mom (the fiancee) we finally get off the sofa and take a bath and get ready to face the world.

I mean, really, my life must have sucked before my new friend found me, I just didn't know it ...

Oh my what a hard life the poor little guy has. :18: He knows when he's well off.

What a wonderful life he is having, and how great to have a Dad and Mom who love him so much. Bet he knows just how to wrap you both round his little foot.

They are beautiful pics of a beautiful Bird.

See he knew the person to pick didn't he.

Yeah, he knew ... and yeah, he does have us wrapped around his little feet ... but you know what, I think we do it willingly :D ...

I do have one complaint ... I had to get off the sofa to start cleaning (my house and his), to do laundry and all the ohter stuff you have to do on a day off, but he's back in his cage taking a nap in his Happy-Hut  ... whose got the better life

Yeah don't we all, but keep that quiet, don't tell them that.

I have the same problem there, but Bucc will get in his cage, while I'm still cleaning it and then tell me to "Ssssshhhhhhhhhhh Bucc gone bed" :worship2:

How do you not stare in wonder at Bucc when he speaks congnitively and in context?

Yet another reason why I want a grey, a bird that is SUPER INTELLEGENT ... I know Ham's intellegent, there there is a different cognative level with the Greys ... I am in AWE of that bird.

I'll tell ya something now, everyday I'm in awe of him, I'm still shocked and amazed when he says something that is totally in context. I could quite happily sit all day and just talk and listen to him, its amazing.

I asked him today if he wanted a baby brother or sister and he said Ohhhhhh............................................NO. So I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that bit. :D

Ya know what is funny, ask a three year-old human the same question and you are going to get the same answer ... :p Becase that means he is going to have less time with his mum ...

so what size happy hut do u use??? Sidney loves his but i was wondering if he needed a larger one or if he likes the closeness of the smaller one thanks

I think it's the small size, it's the one for the cockatiels ... Ham loves the close quarters ... he curls right up and I am sure he feels really warm and very safe .... :D

that's what Sidney has so maybe I will let him keep it for now I was concerned it might be too small but everything I read says they love to cuddle so maybe for now it's just right he still has some growing to do but he has filled in alot in the two weeks I've had him BTW I snuck up on him last night to take some pics in the happy hut - I don't think he appreciated the attention that much but neither would I if someone randomly started taking pics while I was trying to sleep :)

I have a small size for our Linnies and a large one for the tiels, but the Linnies end up in the large one and the poor tiels are trying to squash into the small one. :D Silly birdies.

I kinda felt pangs of envy...I want to snuggle up, have my breakfast made ,bath run and have adoring people at my mercy:(

AD: free to good home. big bird, old and cranky, but toilet trained.:angel-smi .
oh good talker:)
