Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...that Baby Bird is :D Yesterday morning when I got up and went into the living room to say good morning to both of them, and turn on the music <stereo plays all day except nite nite time for them> and open their front doors,Amy starts with her morning ritual of mumbles and words..BB launches in on a series of twittles and chirps and light whistles :)..something new out of him.

Minutes later,Amy is...you-know-where..awaiting her pal to come out and play. I go fix breakfast for them and I hear him twittling his heart out. It put a smile on my face, knowing he is getting comfy with his surroundings.

I set his breakfast down on his roof and came into this room to fire up the computer and leave the two alone to chow down.peeking in every so often to make sure everything is ok. BB was sharing his plate with the girl, who was more interested in his veggies and fruit, then his pellets and teil mix <though I HAVE seen her trying to eat his pellets> You'd think I don't feed her lol.

Anyway, I got him on my hand and put him down on the 'puter desk, where he happily walked about, chewing on paper, banging on an asprin bottle, and chirping away! He is getting more vocal everyday.
My brother stopped in on Monday to meet BB and BB had no problem getting right on David's finger, chirped at him..nibbled at his beard and allowed a short head skritch session, and this was the first time he met my brother < David was quite smitten with him too, thinks he is a 'cutie pie".>

So today I am going to put him on the floor <carpet> and see how he reacts to being able to roam,JUST A BIT.
Will also call his doctor today and see if I can get him in for his wellness check up..if not, make another appointment for this week.
Its only 5:17 am here, and I wanna wake the little guy up and play with him! LMAO.

Yes,you are correct there! I could not be any more happier with him,and I am sooo grateful that Amy adores him <actually, I was thinking of her well being, rather than mine, when I took this little guy home> and Baby Bird seems to enjoy Amy's company.

Still, I get a little aggro'd with Amy. She is obsessed with BB. Every time I turn around, she is on his roof top. She doesn't "bother" him..doesn't pick at him or breath down his neck..She helps him eat his food  and she does talk to him. Still...I feel a little bad for BB,coz he is new here, not too familiar with his surroundings,or ME,and there is this BIGGGGG green monster next to him lol..I think it helped with him being with three other siblings,to not get freaked out about Amy.

He is currently sitting on my shoulder preening away, doing a few twittles, shaking and fluffing himself up <holy moly ALOT of dander comes off him when he fluffs and shakes his booty>

I should have done this aloooonnngggg time ago..;)

Glad Amy and BB are bonding well. Life is full of unusual friendships, so watch it unfold and enjoy!
