I agree Dusty looks like one happy little guy I think Dusky Conures are so extra gorgeous in person with their 2 shades of brightest green!

I took a paper gift bag and stuffed it with paper confetti used for gift baskets. He absolutely LOVES it.

I have a dusky. I inherited her, so I had no idea that they are kind of rare, but I think you are the only other dusky here, yeah?
Can I use any old paper/media for making toys? I was letting Wynnie play with tp roll tube but then I read the glue could be unsafe. I have a ton of kids crafts stuff here (for my neices and nephews) including egg cartons, gift paper/bags, tissue, tp and paper towel rolls, empty Kleenex boxes...old shoe laces, scraps of material, you name it. Seems like birdie girl would like it as much as little kids do, but I am worried about safety.

There are other dusky owners out there. I have two duskies. Gizmo loves to fetch and retrieve balls. Niko plays basketball with little balls as well. They both love to work for sunflower seeds! A dusky's middle name is, 'Play'!
