A Great Macaw Lovers You Video!

I imagine it is as well for him, especially everything that he's done and has tried to do - including having thick billed parrots. Those guys aren't easy to get a hold of! (the bird he has as his cover image)

The thick billed parrot reminds me so much of my RFM I wanted to look into them until I learned they are very endangered. No thick billed for me but instead the RFM which is the strangest parrot I ever lived with. LOL.

I actually remember talking about the TBP with you. A shame really that they aren't more common. Love the red heads! ;)

Thanks for the link. I did send a friend request. Don't know if he will accept but I will try. The rescue I got Julio from is friends with him also. I feel bad that he no longer has parrots. I went two months without parrots and it was such a dark time for me.

If he does it would be neat to mention this forums to see if he has any passion to chat Parrots any more. His knowledge of free flying his parrots is spectacular.

I have got a local aviary that is breeding Thick Billed Parrots. They have stated they are doing it for conservation however other than taking pressure of collecting wild birds I'm not acquainted with any conservation going on.

He is. I just checked his FreeFlight group on Yahoo and he has posted this month. He is list owner, after all. He even replied to someone who mentioned that they saw him at an LA fair with a flock of sun conures taking $1 bills from the audience. Chris replied that that was him before he lost his show and birds due to divorce issues. :(

It's neat though that you have a local aviary with thick bills!

I saw these videos a while back and often rewatch them because they are so inspiring. I am saddened to hear he no longer has parrots. I too would like to know more on this, and I hope he is doing well.

I messaged him on his liberty wings page, a few months backs I think, asking about flight training hyacinths. He responded back a few days later too! So I think he may still be involved in the bird world. I'd like to think he is...his work is amazing, I've never seen anything as awe inspiring. He has a few more videos too. The background music is phenomenal as well. :D
