A couple questions

Every night at bed time Quinn will sit quietly on his perch and make a sort of crunching or grinding sound, I am assuming with his beak. Does anyone know what this is or why he does it? Is it normal?

Is edamame/soy beans, safe for him to eat?

Thanks in advance. I'm still getting to know this little guy!

Grinding the beak is perfectly normal. It's usually a sign of being content. All of mine do it as they're going to sleep.

Soy beans are a no no in my book. Not for humans or fids, most if not all of the soy grown now is GMO.

Ok, thank! I'm glad the beak grinding is normal. I hadn't thought much of it all week as it was only at night when he was falling asleep but then realized I didn't know if it was a good or bad thing so figured should ask.
