May we never forget that innocent /peace loving does not assure one's safety. Our prays and thanks to the men and women on the front lines, the thin blue line, and our first responders be both honored and safe.

God bless every family out there who lost a loved one to the senseless tragedy of that day, and bless also those who put themselves in harm's way every day for our sake.

Scott, thank you for posting. I'm so sorry for your personal loss.

Sending love and hope to all whose lives were changed by this horrific event. Undying gratitude to all who gave selflessly to help in so many ways in the aftermath.

Feels like yesterday, hard to believe it's been 15 years. My heart still breaks for all the terrible losses.

To all who have suffered and grieved as a result of terrorism, I humbly offer this video. It was made a few years ago (not by me), but it still touches me. The song, in my interpretation, is about counting blessings.

To all who have served in the name of liberty, I thank you for my safety and independence... my right to speak my mind, live where I wish, and keep a parrot if I want. What a blessed life I have... big blessings, little ones, too. I'm grateful for them all.

I wish us all peace.

I wore a black ribbon on my Greenbay packer jersey today.and someone actually asked me what that was for...I still remember that day...my ex was on the 82 floor...he didn't make it. My heart melts for all who have Felt loss from that day.

A worthy thread. My thanks to those of you who serve(d), my condolences to all who were hurt mentally physically spiritually.

Mariar, I am so very sorry for your loss.

It is the day for my generation that everyone will always remember where they were and what was happening... and unfortunately with cable tv, its a vivid memory watching the towers fall on tv as it happened. Or listening to the messages from those on Flight 93.

And truly now is a time for all us to remember...

Thank you Scott for starting the thread and so sorry for your personal loss... and to everyone here that lost a loved one, its a day the world should never forget.

Left this out of my earlier post.
For me, a song about counting blessings.
