3/4 bar spacing for a tiel....?

Im getting my cage in about an hour. The bar spacing is 3/4 but its a magnificent cage. Do you think he will be okay?

To me it sounds a bit big. 3/4 is too big for a gcc, and cockatiels are close to the same size. I would be afraid of it getting out or stuck. There's a video on here somewhere I saw of a gcc going right out through the bars.

The people I got the cage from said that they had a tiel in it for 10 years.

Proper Bird Cage Bar Spacing Recommendations

I found this link to be helpful. Then again, my ringnecks bar spacing is bigger than what is recommended, and he is fine.

I guess it all depends on your birds personality, like if he is an escape artist lol.
