Zenek and other our parrots

As above - I'm not at home. I wanna say "good night" to Zenek each time when I go sleep (that was my routine because he says it too). Once or two times I also wanted to share some fruits with him... But he is too far[emoji853] this is a photo which was sent to me today

Awwww Zenek wants to share his fruit with you!

Looks like Zenek’s got a few pin feathers there, bet he likes it when you fix them up for him :)

Here is the next photo. I Heard that he didn't know from which fruit to begin[emoji16]

Jaś and Fela visited Rozalka. Did they want to eat with her?:D

When I was a young teen I had Wally the Budgie. Every night after dinner I would do my homework at the kitchen table while he was out and he'd land on the table and run to my hand and jump onto my fingers and beak and bang and yell at the pencil or pen in my hand. Made it very difficult to write
I usually ended up giving him his own to roll around on the table and yell at it.
Miss that little guy :o

Now we know why you’re so smart Rozalka, you’ve got Zenek doing your homework for you!

Jaś made a mistake: went into not his cage:D

file.php

Jaś is inside, Fela on a feeder is looking "what is he doing there?", Rozalka probably was thinking about a cruel plan what to do next:16:

Look at those cute faces looking back at you! They look completely innocent to me!!

My parrots think every cage is better than their own cage!!! They always want to explore someone else's cage lol, sometimes they want to move in! Then everyone is upset and screaming!!

After taking this photo Rozalka went into her cage and was chasing Jaś untill he left it. She only looks inocent;) In real life this summer she plucked one of Jaś & Fela's babies:(

Sounds like Rozalka is the chief butt-kicker of your flock!

Because I often go to the capital city and then I can't be at home, I thought of an experiment:
I hung a calendar for Zenek and marked days of my departures and returns. We every day move a grid (??) What do you think Zenek will understand something when I'm not at home?
Zenek knows the calendar but not what it means yet:

I think that's a great idea. I've heard you should explain. I used to hold up fingers and count each day I was going to be away.

I also do it but I don't think he understands. Also, if he will understand my idea, he would know other dates not only how many days of the nearbest travel. I also got answer on another forum, this person doubts in it...

When I used to drive tractor-trailer I would be gone sometimes for two or three days at a time. The day before I departed I would show Smokey (African Grey) the calander and as I pointed to it I would tell her how many days I would be gone.I really believe she understood, because there would be times that I didn't do it,and when I got home...boy oh boy...did I have one P.O. Grey!!

Jim

Yes, I'm not sure what they understand... But something got across , as she was less stressed by my travel.

I Heard that the most important is understanding this is a routine. I always come back and this Zenek should understand the quickest. This is from another forum (I've got two answers)
